I smoked a bongful of Fruit Loops and Fruit Loops and hunkered down w/ this incredible, enveloping slab. Not sure where Axacan is, but while there, Mr. Bachman apparently absorbed the Numero Group’s Environments series as well as Steve Reich, Lamonte Young, thunderstorms, a ragged Oldsmobile, John Fahey’s City of Refuge, a touch of Sun City Girls… and possibly an alligator? Another masterwork with many layers I look fwd to unfolding. Otis Nugatory

This is a phenomenally good album & I urge you to stop whatever you're doing, buy a copy and bury yr head between the speakers. Matthew's classic American primitive guitar is ENVELOPED by Jen's hammered dulcimer & Jayson's smattering percussion, like some bastard offspring of Robbie Basho & the Velvets at their most unhinged. Ecstatic, vital stuff. North Country Primitive

Top Gear compilation, & I ordered the lovely "Moon Cephalopod" t-shirt on this past (just three days, not even) Bandcamp Friday just before midnight & received immediate stream / download & my t-shirt arrived yesterday, Monday August 9th!?! Now that's wild!
Bardo Pond has always been uniquely their own psychedelic selves, live & on wax.
I'm an old head & thought I'd pretty much more or less heard it all before. Not true! Every track on this Three Lobed Records conmp is worth listening.

Hypnotic, cathartic, a rising sun over the wreckage of the night. These electric explorations invite reflection, conjure daydreams. A great unfurling. Admo
